How Do I Clean Cast Aluminum Cookware?
- Always allow pans to cool to room temperature before cleaning. Sudden changes in temperature may cause the metal to warp.
- Soak cookware in warm, soapy water and use a plastic scrubbing pad to gently remove stuck-on food.
- Avoid the use of scouring pads and abrasive cleaners as they will scratch any nonstick coating.
- To remove water spots or minor stains, wipe with vinegar or lemon juice, then rinse thoroughly with water, and dry with a soft cloth.
- * Pro tip: Dishwasher use will diminish the release properties of nonstick coating over time. So if you want to make that favorite pan last, hand wash your nonstick cast aluminum cookware to maximize longevity.
Do’s & Don’t
- Do not immediately wash the pan while is hot. This will cause the pan to deform and coating will diminish from time.
- To prevent darken of side or hot handle, make sure the fire ring does not exceed the base diameter.
- While cooking, ensure food does not turn scorched. This will cause damage to the coating.
- DO NOT use in any microwave
- DO NOT use product with Non-Stick coating in oven
- DO NOT overheat, prolonged exposure to the heat from a flame when empty
- DO NOT use abrasive brush nor acidic cleaning detergent to clean the cookware
- NOT recommended to use in Dishwasher
- ONLY casserole type (DLT-1004, DLT-1005, DLT-1006 & DLT-1007) can be used in oven < 280°C
